When the eco-neighborhood becomes a forest: Exhibition, conference, film and collective performance

These are the last days of the (re)conneting.earth exhibition in the canton of Geneva.
In order to (re)discover the proposals of the 16 artists from a new angle art-werk proposes a special Saturday, as part of the eco-neighbourhood celebration of Les Vergers. On the menu: a guided tour by the curator of the exhibition in conversation with a specialist in urban biodiversity; a lecture on sustainable building materials; a documentary film screening and a tree planting.

15:00 - 16:00 Guided tour by curator Bernard Vienat with as guest Olivier Chatelain (expert in urban biodiversity)
16:00 - 17:00 Conference "How to build sustainably" with the participation of Daniela Liengme and Laura Mechkat, architects of the Equilibre housing cooperative in Les Vergers, and Christian Von During (expert in sustainable building materials: wood / stone / straw / etc)
17:00 - 18:00 Planting and naming, with the name chosen by the classes of the neighbourhood, of the new tree planted in memory of the exhibition and for a sustainable reconnection with the earth. In the presence of the artist of the exhibition Adrien Missika
18:00 - 19:45 Screening of the film Le temps des forêts (François-Xavier Drouet, 2018)
